SCOTISH CORONARY ON A STICK
(a.k.a.  Deep Fried Mars Bar & Chips)

NOTE:  Something of a speciality in Scotland along with its sibling the battered deep fried frozen pizza.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mars candy bar 
  • Fish batter
  • Beef fat fry
PROCEDURE:

Take one or more Mars bar or other chocolatey, caramel, nougat type confection.  Push a kebab/satay stick into it along its length.  Dip in batter (the sort you dip fish into).  Deep fry it in beef fat (or marginally more healthy oil, such as corn or canola) until golden.

Serve with chips (fat fries).  Perhaps you might also consider dining with a cardiac specialist on hand.
