Occupation: Freelance writer, editor, web-design, podcasting, voiceover and graphics guy.  Am also chief web-head for Mister Herman's Production Company, Ltd.  a division of which, Mister Herman's Publishing Company, is putting together my first printed short story collection.

Story.  The Blues Brothers.  Ocean's Eleven (the Clooney version, though the second one nearly ruined it for me). Rushmore.  Serenity.  The Shawshank Redemption.  The Green Mile.  Silverado.  M*A*S*H*. South Park: Bigger Longer, Uncut. Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 8th Dimension. The Iron Giant.  Wit.  Chicago.  Pretty much all films by Kevin Smith, the Coen Brothers and Terry Gilliam.

Favorite Foods:  Indian Food is my ultimate comfort food.  I once enjoyed a bowl of rice pudding (kheer) at Nawob in Roanoke, VA, that was like eating a bowl of pure love.  

Least Favorite Foods:  I'm something of a chocolate heathen, though I do profess to the lesser faith of chocolate mixed with peanut butter, caramel or `bout anything except mint. 

Biggest Influences: I'm chock full of Monty Python, Doctor Who, Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury, They Might Be Giants, Dr. Demento, Judy Blume, Berke Breathed, Bill Waterson, Gary Larson, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, The Simpsons,  Mystery Science Theater 3000, and J. Michael Stracsynski.  Not to mention 8,000 reruns of What's Happenin' (which is funny, cause see, they had a guy on there called Rerun... y'see...) and not quite as many reruns of What's Happenin' Now.

Last Really Good Comic I Read: Enjoying Blackest Night.  Awaiting Planetary's final issue.  About to embark on a Love & Rockets marathon read.

All Time Favorite Comic Works: Watchmen, V For Vendetta, From Hell, The Sandman, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, the original Ben Edlund run on The Tick, The Goon, Bone, the Denny O'Neil penned early 90's version of The Question, Top Ten, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Concrete, the Giffen/DeMatteis run on Justice League, Kingdom Come, Cerebus, `Mazing Man, Acme Novelty Library, The Tale of One Bad Rat, Planetary, the Ellis and Millar penned issues of The Authority, and, what the hell, Suicide Squad. 

Favorite Music: Simon & Garfunkel, Crowded House, Finn Brothers, Neil Finn, They Might Be Giants, Midnight Oil, Barenaked Ladies, Moxy Früvous, Richard Barone, Dave Matthews Band, Sonia Dada, Jason Falkner, Natalie Merchant, 10,000 Maniacs, Oingo Boingo, Pet Shop Boys, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Tenacious D, Jeff Buckley, Ben Folds and Vinx.

Favorite Recent Album: Ben Folds University A Capella CD is fantastic. 

Ideal Evening: Staying in with a bunch of good friends, telling funny stories while eating great food.

Long Term Goal: Nothing short of world domination, physical perfection and a proliffic amount of prose work to my name.

Short Term Goal: Gathering the energy necessary to begin my world domination schemes.  So far, I've joined a gym.
